SAMDP is proud to announce that Dr. Nkateko Munisi, a long serving member of the South African Medical and Dental Practitioners (SAMDP) association has been appointed to the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Foodborne Illness by Health Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi.
This committee, officially convened in early December 2024, is tasked with providing expert advice and evidence-based recommendations to inform the government’s decisions on food safety and public health policies.
Dr. Munisi’s appointment highlights his exceptional leadership and expertise in healthcare, positioning SAMDP at the forefront of impactful policy-making.
